Since I was a little kid I have always imagined myself going around the world. Visiting another country and being able to see the world is going to an amazing experience of my life. I had the chance in 2012 to participate in one the program from Kemenpora, called International Youth Exchange Program.
The selection itself was held by each representatives of Dispora and cooperated with Purna Caraka Muda Indonesia (PCMI). There were plenty of country program offered but I applied myself for Indonesia Canada program. We had to pass several tests and interviews, and finally I was announced to be the representatives for North Maluku.
Before departing to Canada, all the participants had to pass Medical Check-Up in Jakarta all together to have a check on our health. We flew back to our province and met again in Jakarta to join Pre-Departure Training (PDT). In PDT we learned many things related to the exchange programs, we also did a lot activities and practiced many dances from other provinces.
